Both sides enjoy a joint sponsorship package from leading gaming firm Mozzart Bet Kenya, adding extra spice to this contest. This will be their second meeting of the 2025/26 campaign, with the hosts keen to avenge the narrow 1–0 defeat they suffered at the hands of Soy United on November 30 last year at the ASK Showground in Eldoret.
The Jeffers Odongo-led Blue Eagles will be optimistic to return to winning ways after a challenging February, where they managed just one point from a possible nine — drawing with Migori Youth before suffering back-to-back defeats to Kibera Blackstars and Naivas FC.

However, diminutive striker Dennis Shigami will miss out due to squad rotation.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Soy United forward John Khanda acknowledged the magnitude of the task, emphasizing the team’s determination to bounce back.
“It is going to be a very tough match today, and the responsibility is on us to deliver. We had a disappointing February, but our preparations have been solid and we believe we can get the result we want,” said the seasoned talisman.
The visitors will be chasing only their second away win of the season, but a resilient 3K FC side stands in their way. With pride, points, and momentum on the line, all signs point to a fiercely contest.
