Official: Victor Maliachi Signs for Soy United.
Soy United is delighted to announce the permanent signing of skillful winger Victor Maliachi from National Super League side Nzoia Sugar Football Club.
The 24-year-old forward joins the Blue Eagles having registered four goals and eight assists in the ongoing 2025/26 campaign, strengthening Soy United’s frontline with pace, creativity, experience, and depth as the team continues to revamp its attacking options.
Following Maliachi’s acquisition, head coach Jeffers Odongo expressed his satisfaction with the new addition, noting that the winger brings much-needed firepower and is expected to adapt quickly and contribute to the club’s ambitions.
“As a club, we are pleased to have him on board. He is a direct offensive player whom any coach would admire having in their team because he possesses all the right qualities. Victor is a player we have been closely monitoring, and his arrival will certainly add a spark to our attack. We hope he will settle in quickly and deliver what we expect from him,” said the head coach.
The former Green Commandos and APS Bomet ace comes from a well-known footballing family. His elder brothers, Evans Maliachi and Kevin Maliachi, have featured for several topflight sides, including APS Bomet FC, FC Talanta, and Sofapaka, among others.
Maliachi will wear jersey number 11 for the remainder of the season.
