Forward Bancy Ivayo is a Blue Eagle.

Soy United Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of talented forward Bancy Ivayo on a permanent deal following the conclusion of the midseason transfer window.

The 23-year-old striker joins the Blue Eagles from National Super League debutants Kabati Youth Football Club, bringing with him pace, versatility, youthful experience, and added firepower to Soy United’s attacking department.

Ivayo enjoyed a solid run with Kabati Youth this season, registering three goals and three assists, including a goal against Soy United in their fixture on December 18 last year. A product of AFC Leopards Youth (Cubs), the forward has steadily built a reputation as a reliable and intelligent attacker.

In his first season with the Murang’a County–based side, Ivayo was instrumental in Kabati Youth’s historic promotion to the National Super League, scoring seven goals and providing six assists in the FKF Division One Zone A campaign.

Fondly known as “Afande” within football circles, Ivayo is admired for his versatility and can comfortably operate across all three attacking positions; a quality that adds tactical flexibility to the club’s frontline.

Born and raised in Lumakanda, Lugari, the promising forward has expressed excitement and optimism about beginning a new chapter with Soy United, emphasizing his desire to grow his career and help the club achieve its ambitions this season.

“I am very happy to be here. Soy feels like home. The players, coaches, and management are amazing and hardworking, and they are constantly pushing me to give my best so that together we can achieve the goals set for the end of the season,” Ivayo said.

Ivayo will wear the number 28 jersey for Soy United.
